Worcester Art
Andre Derain
Back in 1906/7 a French Artist called Andre Derain was commissioned to produce a series of paintings of London scenes. This was after a similar series painted by Claude Monet proved to be very popular. Looking at these, I thought that many of them were very reminiscent of Worcester scenes. With that in mind I created my own versions, based on the originals, but with the addition of the local landmarks. Perhaps you would like to look for the originals and compare them.
